I own a 04 Mustang, and it's red. I don't want to get dark tints because I feel like in the area I live in I will be too frequently getting pulled over by cops because its a red sports car and the tints I'd be getting would be very dark. I'm thinking of trying to get mirror tints similar to the ones I have included in this post, but I'd like to see if anyone else has tried them yet on a stang. Let me know. Feel free to post any pics of your car as long as it has any tints of any kind. Thank you.

and hey, 06gt dude, 1. how much is your car lowered? 2. what was the point of getting tint if you can barely tell a difference? seems like a waste of money to me, but hey the car still looks great

I'm amazed at what a difference a set of wheels makes on an S197. I just can't stand them stock, but they look so much better with the right set of wheels on them. Although, Ford has never been good a picking out a good looking wheel for their cars.

Car is lowered wiht the Eibach Pro Kit as for the tint. Tint on the front is Illegal so I first of all did not want to attract unwanted attention. Next is even with light tint it helps to keep the car cooler and next is it looks better with the tint. And I also like to see out the windows at night and wiht dark tint that is almost impossible.

what state do you live in??? you cannot have any tint at all??? geez that blows... and as far as it looking a lot better, i personally can barely tell a difference, but then again, thats just me

i dont wanna talk you out of it but i dont think that mirror tints will look great on a red car...but i understand that dark tints will get u pulled over...i have seen mirror tints on a couple of red cars and wasnt 2 fond of them but yet again ur car ur choice....
My car had mirror tint on it when I got it and it looked ok... but I think smoke looks much better. Then again, I traded those chrome 18"s for the black cobra R's... and ditched the silver taillights. I guess if you have tons of chrome on the car it'll look good to have "chrome" windows. There's my 2 cents.
If you think you're gonna be getting pulled over for having dark tints, imo mirror tints attact more attention from cops because they aren't seen as often. I live in Cali and the law says that we can't have any tints on the windshield or front two windows. We can go as dark as we want on the rear windows. I have 20% all around except windshield. I've been pulled over a couple times for different things and the officers mentioned my tints were illegal but they never gave me a fix it ticket for them so of course i'm not gonna do anything about it :-0!
