why would i lie im being dead honest before i got the intake tune and pullies i averaged around 24-25 at those speeds now its giving me way more i have no idea how the best tank that ive gotten was 450 we have a 16 gallon tank if you calculate it that about 28 mpg thats what i geton the highway and if you dont believe me thats your problem i know what i see and have no reason to lie

Mine averages 17.7 mpg with 99.5% being around town driving. This is a combined tank average, I have not reset it in like 5-10 tankfulls. The most I ever got was 25mpg all highway doing a steady 70 mph.

Thats what mine got when it was it stock. Now, I get 22-23mpg @ 70mph with a tailwind.

26 to 28 MPG at 60 MPH, highway driving 5 days a week to and from work, 104 mile round trip. At 55 for long level stretches, I've averaged over 30 MPG.

Forgot to mention, 11 - 12 mpg 100% city
25.6 mpg 100% highway @ 75 mph

Now you say it is 28. Far cry from 29.5-30 like you stated before. It is becoming believable now. I don't call folks liars, but when the number are so outrageous from what other posters claim, you have to wonder.

^^^^Hes still claiming he can get 28 mpg at 75mph, though. Its not possilble.

Stock @ highway speed (70-75 mph) was 23-24 mpg.
With Breenspeed's 91 octane tune and Steeda CAI: 18-19 mpg but with heavier foot.
After MAC's added: 14-16 cuz I like to hear it rumble.

18.5 City. Don't really get to run a full tank on the freeway. I don't really get on it cuz I'm only 6 miles from work, by the time I take it out of first gear I'm practically there already. I used to have a 1 1/2 hour commute into NYC one way so I'm not complaining.

I average about 21 city and 28 hwy. I have got a low of 17 and a high of 30.

When I was commuting long distance (44 miles to work) I was getting almost 20 mpg. Since I started commuting short distance (5 miles to work) it dropped to 14.5 mpg.
This is mostly likely due to I was almost always in 5th gear on the freeway during the long distance commute at 2500 rpm. Now I'm doing a lot of stop lights and mostly doing 3rd and 4th gear at 3000 to 4000 rpm.

Though I went from refilling 1 and half times week to almost once a month now.

Oh and on the freeway I was averaging 85-90 mph. (just going with the traffic!) Only one speeding ticket in my life, and it was on city streets.

Now I'm averaging 60-70 mph.

It would appear driving 55-60 mph on the freeway (i.e. like a granny) while in 5th is the only way you can get teh advertised 25 mpg.

i regularly get 30 mpg by driving 55 mph on the highway

10-11mpg 87 octane City driving only. Plus I speed alot. I didn't buy this car to drive like a grandpa.

17-18 with normal driving.

On freeways, averaging around 70-75 mph, I get abotu 20 mpg.

Mostly city for me ... stretches where I can go 50 -- 55. Haven't done a road trip yet so I don't know about that yet. When I'm good, I get 19 to 20 in town and about 300 miles per tank. When I'm really good, then about 15 to 16, then about 230 per tank.

My trip computer is pretty close, usually within about .5 mpg and I reset each tank. I also track from fill-up to fill-up and the average is pretty close.

I have noticed that since my first oil change (from factory fill to Mobil 1) there has been a lot more variablity in my mpg. Guess I'm just getting into a little more ... not sure.
