The most important advice I can give you with this install is to be sure that you take your time an test fit test fit test fit.
You will beable to remove it if it's not seated all the way, just be careful not to do it to many times.

$165.00 Shipped. Be sure it's the REAL CARBON FIBER kit. Also if they don't have one, just email them, they will make it for you. They had to do it for me.

Thanks for the write up. I just received my Double Brushed kit and I'm waiting on some warmer temperatures before I begin the install. Also, that Activator thing is that the same as an Adhesive promoter and under what temperature did you do the install (being winter and all)?

Well I'm in Florida so I started and it was about 80, and then tonight it was about 70. The instructions said to do it around between 70-100. Yes the activator is an adhesive promoter. I forgot to put it in the original directions. But you have to let it dry for about 5 minutes per 3M.

Nice job. It really adds a special touch to your interior. You did a great job of explaining in every detail. Many people doing tech write-ups miss important details that comfuse the DIYer. I won't be doing this but I enjoyed reading about it anyway. Thanks!

I can't say enough about this kit. The quality was top notch... So if anyone was looking at the more expensive ones, stop...

looks sharp from a distance, but what about up close? Can you tell its stuck on? In other words, can you see the edges? I have a IUP with the light satin finish, and I hate to install this kit only to see 1-2 mm worth of satin show through on the sides. Thoughts?
