Default 16 HP from UDP's and coil packs???

A friend of mine works at a dyno shop, and told me that they got a near consistent 16-18 hp from just adding udp's and accel coil packs. Does this sound right to you? I didn't think coil packs would make that much of a difference.
Its the set-up i went with, you can feel the difference, but i didn't know it was that much.

I have MSD COPs (hot)and Granatelli COPs (very hot) both work very well.
I know I am seeing 20+ HP from the Granatelli COPs on a S/C car.

That sounds about right... Generally, 8 to 10 RWHP on the UDP's, and betwen 6 to 9 from COP's, from what I have seen. I am pulling the trigger on the COP's myself here in a day or two. Either going with Summit Racing's, or Accel's.

Usually what I have seen is more like 5 hp from UDPs, COPs, FI get a lot more benefit than N/A

Coil-on-plug.
Instead of 1 coil for all 8 plugs like older cars, ours have a coil on top of each plug. It's what sends the spark to the plug.

Will do! I ordered them yesterday as a matter of fact. I went with Summit Racing's brand. $269.99 for the set. I will do a writeup and install pics as I do them. Might be a little bit before I get to putting them on however. I just got promoted at work so the schedule change will take some figuring out.
