Default tranny and motor problems!! please look ;]

i have a 66 mustang, we just replaced the motor in, i got a 302 from my buddy for free, has less than 100000 miles on it. it was pulled from a 1990 fox body mustang,

well the 4 speed top loader linkage dosent match the little pin that the linkage has to go over on the block side... i dont know wat else to do besuase i dont

have a lot of money right now and i dont think they even sell cable clutch kits for toploader trannys.... any ideas would be great thankS~~~!!!!!!!

A 90 block does't have the hole for the zbar mount you need an adapter from one on the parts vendors like NPD or Mustang Unlimited. NPD has it for $71.50 part# 7A572-1A page 111 off their catolog just above the page number.
