People have got into a "threat" attitude lately. Have been threaten in my work. Because someone didn't like judgement on problem with their equipment. I solve it easy. I tear up the invoice. No cost for my service call. Report to boss. When the person calls agains. Boss does no require me to service them. My choice guess what my choice is.

I wouldn't be too sure. It is pretty obvious that somebody in the system is trying to get rid of their competition. It isn't about the parts, but about the money made selling these parts. People will do all kinds of crazy stuff for $, and less competition means more potential for making money. (no shrugging smiley [:@])

There's no way they're making enough money to care that much. The 2.3T aftermarket is miniscule compared to a lot of other markets ya know? If it really was for competition then it could have only been a few people, and it won't be long until they're figured out. That's why I'm saying something's not kosher somewhere. [8D]
