ok lol.. another 17 or 18 inch newbie! question.  I have a black mustang GT 2007, picture below. OK I currently have:

17 inch premium painted aluminum wheels
P235 / 55 Z 17 Z-Tires

What type of rims can I get to fit that? what specifics should i look for? I kind of wanted to save some money so I don't want to have to change my tires out lol.. is that ok? :( or should i go ahead and save for changing it all? What 17 inch rim options do i have? Does 17 still look good with chrome?

I think 17 still looks good with chrome if that's what you're going for.  the stock wheels that you have are 17x8, so if you wanted to keep the stock tires, you could easily get some 17x8 wheels, and I think it would look good.  It's all about the wheels though, and I definitely think you could find a set that look good as 17x8.

wait a little while until you need tires, then go 18 and wider!

Chrome 17s look too small on our cars. Save up for some decent 18s. A 235 should wear a 7.5 -8.5 width rim. For a 9"width like above look for a 255-265. You can make a lot of different widths fit, but not too good for the rim or ride.

what we sell the most are 20s, staggered 20x8.5s and 20x10s. Now a days with 20s so common they are not much more than 18s. But if you wanna upgrade and dont want to wait until its time to buy new tires. we have 5 different finishes of bullet wheels. All 5 Genuine OEM Ford wheels, all BRAND NEW in the box with full Ford warranty for only $399.99 a set plus about $60-$80 shipping depending on where you are. We have polished, silver, anthracite, black, and arizona beige, all with the new 3 bar spinner center cap. check out the link below. I will be posting another link on a new thread in the next day or so as soon as i can get the page built plus i am waiting for the moderator to change our status from newbie to sight sponsor, its been alomost 10 days, but this should give you an idea.

18's look better! Cost a hellofalot more, though.
I can't stand the stock wheels - bullits are my favorite - can get a good deal for 17s with tires on ebay.
