I have searched online,google:"Cobra R Wheels"finding wheels online that look like mine listed for $225.00but I don't believe they are authentic Ford OEM?

Irecently purchased two sets of chrome wheels in late '07for two of the three Mustangs I have bought in the past 4 years and they were not stamped by Ford on the back of the wheelsand I paid approx. $1,000 for eachset. The diameters fo the center caps were alsosmaller, I was very upset to find the OEM Ford center caps would not fit

I would greatlyappreciate if anyone can help me as I want to be reasonable with the asking price.

I live in San Mateo, California about 20 minutes south of San Francisco if anyone local is interested?

Also, the wheels do not come with center caps but are mounted on Sumitiomo tires with about half the tread life used up.

I think that the only place that you can get the real wheels with a Ford part number on them, is "Ford Racing." The real wheels are on their website. The new ones are $225 a piece from there.

hey, just a tip for you that might help you find out more about your rims, those particular rims are commonly known as Y2K Cobra R rims. Plnety of places can sell them to you if they have them but as far as i know they ave been out of production for a while now. A lot of different companies are authrorized Ford Racing vendors and any one them can sell you the rims but chances of finding them are slim since htey have been out of production for a while. We liquidate for Ford and we get in tos of OEM rims all the time and we recently had a huge lot of the previous model Cobra Rs in 17x8 but we have never had any of the Y2K 18s that you have. As far as a value for them just like anything used that is hard to say, the value you would be whatever someone is willing to pay for them. You might post them on ebay and run them for 5 or 6 times and get no hits or you might post them once and have 2 people go head to head for them and run the price up over what they were new if they are restoring a car that they only want the original OEM wheels for. But if you are looking for more info. to help you decide do a Google search for "Y2KCobra wheels genuine" and you'll get some good return on it.
