Ok this maybe a tough question for some but not for others. OKAY how many of you people would get rid of your v6 for a GT if you had the chance. It didn't cost you anything to do it either. Would you? Would you go to a stock GT and get rid of your v6 even if you have spent a ton in mods!!! If you said NO then why? What is it about the 4.0 that you like and don't want to give up for a GT? Remember this is unrealistic, if I could have bought a GT I would have. But I had other things I had to deal with to get the car I have now!!!
I know I wouldn't ever trade my car in for a GT I would maybe trade it in for a Z06 but not a GT. I love my 6 and how fast it is even if it doesn't have the power it is supposed to. Anyone here wit me?

If I could trade my V6 with supercharger for a stock GT Convertible, like new as mine is, I would do it. But that can't happen. That's the waste of such unrealistic questions. The reason I put a supercharger on and a GT front end, etc, was because it costs so much money to turn over a car, it was far cheaper for me to mod my V6 than trade it and buy a GT... If I could trade my V6 for a new Corvette, I would do that too. But that ain't happening either.
Here's my perspective. I got KBB in a private sale for my paid off 06 V-6. I got a mint condition 05 GT Manual with the options I wanted for a couple a grand less than 20k. In other words, a sweet, lucky deal. (Not everyone gets a sweet, lucky and well timed deal like I did.) My V6 didn't have the Pony Package, so to really make it more of a sports car I would have had to spend money on suspension, new tires and rims, X-Charger and perhaps even upgarde the driveshaft, since my 06 was made late in 05 it may have had that driveshaft whose u-joints fly apart at over 115 mph. I live in an apartment, so even if I wanted to buy some tools to do all this myself, I'd have to store the tools--I don't know--under my bed, in my wife's closet??? LOL For me it just made more sense to go with the turnkey solution of the GT. Each person's situation is different.
No! Why? I baught my 4.0 pony package because IMO, it looks better than a stock GT. Much better! For what she has under her hood and with the few mods I have made, I can already give stock GT's a hard time and depending on the driver, I can woop some stock GT butt too! When I throw in an x/c, ohhhhh nelly!

never. besides the fact that my car isnt worth **** since ive modded it, i love my car wayy too much. ive made it mine, and im proud of it, and who wants a plain old GT anyways? I actually had the option to get a GT for nothing (my dad offered me) but i was like, you know? i love my car. why would i want a plain old GT that i'd have to start with from scratch?
if it was just a flat out trade with nothing extra from my pocket, and the GT was in perfect condition with less than 10k miles...then yes i would. not that i dont like the 4.0 but i wanted a mustang, and i wanted to buy brand new, not used..so payments on a GT were more than i was willing to spend, so the 4.0 was what i went with
id do it and pretty quick too. i dont care about losing all the stuff i already put in, its just a whole other project that lays ahead of me, and i like the idea of that
Only if it was another Legend Lime, other than that, no deal. I would never sacrifice this color for more power if it meant I had to blend in with every other car out there on the road.

Huh? You're only going to take, or hang with, a stock GT if the driver is in a coma.
