   BOO YA GRANDMA!!!!

So anyone else have anything to add?  I mean it is excellent seeing all of your responses and honesty.  If all threads were like this...........   Oooo ok I got another one.  So if any of you that said that they would trade, are you goin to mod your six.  Or are you just going to wait for a different car to come along?  Cause I bet if you mod your six you will be pleased and say I ask this question later, you might even change your mind. hhaha

The only thing that gets me about buying a new V6 is it's cost when compared two a two year old, low mileage GT.  It's really about the same.  The difference in the gas mileage isn't much, 1 or 2 mpg at the most...and both use 87 octane.

Mustangs depreciate relative quickly, even GT's.  V6 Coupes, though, loose value very, very quickly. If I bought one new, then I probably would avoid trading it in.  You're going to loose a lot of money.

There isn't much difference in the fuel economy when both are driven normally.  In order to get a V6 you either really want to have a new car or you don't like the insurance cost of a used V8.

Ford needs to improve the gas mileage of the V6 by at least 2 mpg.  They do it in the Ford Fusion and it has more horsepower.  Why not in the V6 Mustang?  I think people would pay just a little extra for that kind of efficiency.

I agree that Ford should improve the mileage on the V6 and while they are at it add a few more hp to the equation as well as stock duals. Like you said, they did it for the V6 Fusion!

All cars basically depreciate down to painfully low amounts. So at some point you'll have to spend money for a new ride. Whether you spend (say 6 k now) moving up to a GT or 17k six years from now when your v6 is worth 4k and you want a new car is up to you. There's no free ride. The only variable is when do you pull the trigger and spend the money.

Isn't the 09 v6 going to have like 240 or 260 hp I don't remember, but hey if so they are getting a lil better.  I wonder when instead of getting more horses each time manufactures get a car it will stop and reverse and they will end up loosing power for something different.  I mean with the way things are going in 10 20 years we would all have 1000 hp cars
