if I was a news reporter this is how the story would go down (the story) with a follow up of "and nothing of value was lost or destroyed in the crash.... except for the BMW"

I wonder if any of the other four were telling him to stop sooner and he wouldn't. It would make the retard/innocent ratio a little different......

nothing funny? Some rich kid was asking why his dads M5 was shifting hard with all the settings cranked up, later on he goes to an airstrip with 4 friends, meaning a fully loaded car, then flys off the end It is funny, funny how people can be so stupid And I read your story on how you lost control, yeah... blame it on the weather, you were doing 55 trying to merge in front of a transport, doesnt sound too smart to me with all seasons in the winter

in those posts in that forum he was saying it was his car. typical puss ass kid trying to be a cool guy. and anyways, what kinda retard goes for some high speed dash like that and doesnt check out the area he's going to do it in? i mean, wouldn't it be a good idea to see what the hell you are driving into?

I know I not afraid of those speeds if I am in control I'm sure it was the same for his buddys that were in the car. I'm pretty sure someone told him to chill the fuq out yes, poor innocent 19 y/o, just going for a nice innocent joy ride with his friends, poor poor kid, who would of thought that going 140mph not knowing what is coming up in front of you is a bad idea so I feel so sorry for him, and his friends who im sure are also completely innocent in the whole deal

55 on the freeway (10 under)in early november, slow accel for the next 1/2 mile till the lane ends good lord how could i have made that mistake? it was a clover with ice around the bend, I think i posted that the cop almost bit it too when responding to the call. even acer came on to say he had trouble on the same highway in his suv. Hell, im not even the only one around here with a buried mustang, but hey the fact that u laugh at dead kids tells me ur probably a poor sad little man who needs this boost to precipitate out a little self confidence so sure im a "bad driver" which somehow we make another logical left turn and equate that to "life" when my original comment was related directly to you laughing at 5 families losing their kids. thats what this is about. too much hypocracy around here. almost everyone on these boards has street racing threads, or high speed threads, but as soon as someone messes up theres this "i didnt so im better" attitude and the Unfortunate get flamed, when in reality sh*t happens. so if u havent had enough time under ur belt to figure that out u will. these kids died just running their cars, doing things that alot of us do on a regular basis. if u looked around there is another thread where several people from that m5 board that organized a run on that half mile air strip. but of course we all know how unsafe perfectly flat half mile strips are especially when there is only 1 car driving down it.

people just don't understand how fast cars can go and how easy it is to lose control. I'm just glad I didn't die the one time I wanted to see what my car would really do on the open road. and what is the deal with John Travolta's house??? how is that information important here?

you guys should know that the car was his, several news broadcasts say it was his but it's in his fathers name... he also owned a 2008 535i and another 2008 letterbox bimmer.. all payed for by his parents... he lives in a housing unit with it's own airstrip, is it that hard to figure out with that being said I work hard for what I own.... and if his parents want to buy him a 100K+ car fine... not his fault, but to take a car that was given to you and not respect it for what it is and be a dumbass little teenager... he got what he deserved, it's a sad occurance don't get me wrong, but sad for the fact todays youth is nothing but a bunch of pansies that get served on a silver platter and then expect more I guess you guys also missed the news about how he's had 2-3 tickets within 6 months that year just because you have a soft spot for people that had life by the balls and decided to piss it all away with major stupidity doesn't mean everyone else is entitled to that opinion

u ever hear that hindsight is 20/20? thanks for all ur retrospective advice, but the point is u dont know all the facts, hell, i dont. thats why its an accident. I do know that other locals chimed into the thread claiming that the weather caught everyone by surprise, thats why they call it iowa weather . maybe its fords fault for not equipping my car with a thermometer so I could have known the overcast 40 degree day had dropped 10 degrees. aside from that, i dont really need a guy with a 2.3 criticizing my ability to handle a car on ice.
