There is a place called The Grille at the quarterfield rd. exit off of 97. Guys coming from the Baltimore region or surrounding we could meet here. It has a pretty good size parking lot and then cruise down from there.
I was going to try and get there close to opening gate, 10:00am. I'm thinking it take about 2hrs from my house.
According to mapquest the grill is 1hr 18mins, from MIR. So if you want we can meet there at 8:30. If thats not to early.
Date : 03/08/08 Correct Time : ? 10:00 AM at the Track Cruise meet ups ? (I'm in So. MD so I'll probably just drive straight there. Correct
If you live in the Baltimore region, The meet up is at The Grille on Quarterfield Rd. off of Rt. 97 @ 8:00 AM. Leave lot no later than 8:45 I am not sure were the meet is for the VA guys.
Im still not sure who all is coming or where they are coming from.?

March 08 Gates open at 10:00am
I will be leaving home around 7:00am and 7:30 am. I will be heading East on 695 from exit 31. South 95 to 895 to 97 to 3. I will be meeting up with Motorhead and Roswald at The Grille On Quarterfield Rd, around 8:00-8:30. From there down to the track. I would like to be back on the road as close to 8:30 as possible to get there when they open the gates.
If anyone else is coming from the same direction as me we can meet up somewhere.
I will be at the Dunkin Donuts in Crofton on route 3 by 8:45 am.
Last time I went there(Motorcross the Nations) I left from work and went Around 495 to rt5 to 301. 301/5 to the 5 split and down through New Market to 236. It brings you right out to the track.

It's all about the cruise, whether you're speeding down the track pushing the accelerator farther than it's ever been before... or just pimpin' your ride, blastin' the dB's from that rack of 15's in the backseat.
Entering the event is easy! Just fill out the tech card and proceed to tech (located in staging lanes #10 & #11). A tech official will give your car a brief safety inspection and assign a number to you! You're now ready to run!
Don't forget that if you make a perfect run in eliminations, you'll get a $1,000 SHOPPING SPREE at SPEED UNLIMITED, Maryland's Hi-Performance SuperStore! And you could actually come away with more than just pride
Tenative Rain Date: March 16. This will be a bracket race type deal. Get there early to get in your runs and dail in time.
I talked to MIR and they say dependant on weather ,no. of cars, etc. You can get 4-6 runs in the morning and then set your dail in time. Then eliminations win=go on, lose=go home. Not sure what the pay out is.
So was this rain that stopped this even from happening or snow? I know we got about 5 to 6 freaking inches of snow here in TN. Damn near 2 weeks away from Spring and we get hit with a half a foot of snow in TN. This sucks!!

Show of hands, how many people think we should hold off until 03/30 weekend or April. The only T+T in April is the 27th. They have Mid-Night Madness on Friday nights from April on.
i was planning on going on the 8th with a small group of friends, figured i would see you all there. but yeah, it rained. if you manage to get people to go to MIR some other time this month, im guessing ill be there. i wanted to go this weekend, but again it looks like rain.
Note: the quickest car in my group of friends is a 350z... so we wont be of much challenge to the LSx group, but ill still race people for the hell of it lol

V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you're fast.
