i'm currently running taylor 8.0 wires. i have ceramic coated equal lenth shorties, and anyone else that has shorties has probably encountered the same prob. spark plug four( the one in the back on the passenger side) the header is super close, and i can't seem to find a good wire that won't fry. i'd love to hear you guys ideas on some good wires!!!!

I have the exact same problem. I used to have the bracket that runs along the valve cover, i got rid of that and i took zip ties and ran my new wires. I actually like the way it looks now better than the brackets. Without those brackets i was able to move the plug now and i dont have a problem.

you can buy some little fiberglass boots for your wires that will keep them from burning up. we used to run them on our stock cars (oval racing).

Accel has some wires that are supposed to be high temp, something 9000, something like that.

I just have the ford racing wires. If you position them right you wont have to worry about them.
