Random Shelby GT Question - 1/28/2008 6:08:42 PM    FenderParrothead Posts: 493 Joined: 5/31/2007 From: Sunny Side of Louisville Status: offline OK, just a random question.  I was under the impression that the Shelby GT (not the 500, mind you) was a coupe only - no convertible option.  Today, on the way home from work, I saw a Blue Shelby GT with silver stripes and a black convertible top.  Was this a real Shelby?  If not, it was made to look like one in every way. I know a guy who made 21 passes down the drag strip on Saturday. They had two tracks rented, flat road course and 1/4 mile strip. The said the tracks are open from 8-5.
