just get the camber bolts? your tires are wearing on the inside right? mine did when i got my sportlines on them. all it takes to fix them is a camber bolt kit and a re-alignment. no need for a 250 dollar camber kit. the bolts will fix you right up.
My problem is that now my wheels almost touch my calipers because they lean inwards a bit.. I need to push them back out so I have space in there again..
the bolts are available at tire discounters, they will run you about 110 dollars installed and aligned. it was a simple fix and only take about an hour, i dont have a link that i can find, but search mustang camber bolts on google. but they should be readily available to install at tire discounters, its not a part they have to order.
yeah. the plates give you more adjustability, but if thats your only worry then the bolts will fix you up just fine. but i will agree with the statement that the plates will give you more of a range when aligning. however i just dont know about them. it kinda worries me that theres a whole new part being added instead of an existing one being replaced. idk... maybe thats just me...
the expensive part of getting the bolts is alignment. the bolts themselves are 30 bucks. 100 includes the alignment, as opposed to say 320+ if you go the plate route...
Before you try and make fun of someones knowledge and help please be correct. please take a look at the link below and explain to me how camber bolts or plates are going to increase the spacing between the caliper and wheel? If you notice the wheel, rotor, caliper are all attached to the spindle. when installing camber bolts you are adjusting the spindle arm everything attached moves with it. with your thinking the top of the wheels are going to move out a degree or two and the rotor and caliper are going to stay as there were? How's that possible?
