Default '99 3.8 vs Prelude...

Like the title says...
'99 3.8 with below listed mods vs stock prelude...
Older body style...
Not sure what year...
What do they run in the quarter?
I think it'll be close but could i take him?
We're hopefully gonna be goin to the track soon...
So I'll see there...
But just wanted a heads up...

Thanks,

-Cooper

lol
Nope...
No money...
My car's quick...
But it's not fast...
lol
I run low 15's without the clutch...
Hopin to do better with it...
Haven't ran it since i put it in...
So we'll see...
He says he's pushin about 180 at the crank...
Never taken it to the track though...
He guesses it'll run 14's...
I'm pushin prolly close to 200 at the crank...
And I've got him beat on torque...
But he weighs about 2700lbs...
So i dunno...

I think that it will be close. Really close especially if he can drive. He has the weight advantage for sho. lol What year is it? Are you talking one of the early, boxy Preludes? or one of the newer sleeker ones? If it is the newer one with an H22 then I think that he will take you.

certain 97+s didnt with out the vtec (i dont knwo much about imports) are low 16s which shouldnt be a problem for him and a split port with full exhaust and a tune will run with a stock 5.0 (stock 5.0[&:])

so unless its a newer vtec he should be alright

By old box style I meant the 80's models. A 94ish would be a good race between you if you were both stock. Is he auto or manual? I think that you will probably get him if he is stock.
