so im lookin about hitting the "but it now" on a complete set of Gt sway bars and the lot on ebay. theyre like 210 delivered, and i thought that sounded reasonable. but is the performance you get worth it? i have the base V6, no PP, i know i have no rear sway and ive read that that alone is worth the money. but im just wondering if the GT front and back sways are something im gonna leave on the car forever or if im gonna be wanting something else down the road? i dont really do any track driving, just agressive street driving, although i'll probably take it to a road course this summer. im not concerned with 1/4 et's or anything i just want good road performance. so can anyone tell me if this is worth it on our cars? if not, what is?

I think they'd be just fine for street... then again the adjustable hellwigs can pretty much do everything from really agressive to less agressive for all conditions. I'm going that route, GT sways that is. Good thing is you could probably take them off later off and still get something for them. A lot of guys here seem to like the gains provided from a gt sway setup.

As far as pricing goes, you might want to look around some more. I won a bid for some gt sways at $81, would have been about $130 shipped had I gotten them shipped.

i did the gt takeoffs from ebay and it will make a huge gain in cornering performance. thats alot of bang for your buck. you wont be disappointed. all i had to buy in addition was bolts for the rear end mount brackets. get locking nuts so they dont come loose. then get some sticky tires and youll be amazed what you can do.

I can't wait to get some.  I got some new 18" wheels and nice performance tires...I need to work on my suspension now to make it 100 times better!

I also did the front/rear GT sways on a V6.
$60 shipped, eBay.
Its G R E A T !

Be sure and get the Prothane Poly bushings at the same time.
I would recommend the OEM Ford hardware. It makes the job
SO much easier.
