Hi all,

I found one of these locally and really liked it so decided I was going to upgrade from my '07 GT.

MSRP was 34,810 so I figure hell, I always negotiate well and get great deals so I should be able to get it for 30 even.

Surprise, Surprise!!

Not only would they not negotiate they wanted a " market value adjustment" of 5 grand so 39,810 total.

Yea, kiss my ass and call me after it's been sitting there 6 months LOL.

It was a bad ass car though, hard to believe the extra 15 HP and 5 TQ can make that much difference but it was DAMN faster than my '07 GT.

Of course, the manual with 3.73's as opposed to my auto with 3.31's probably made a big difference as well.

Oh well, maybe another time.

Have fun folks,
Lance

My 8 yr. old son and I just stopped by a Phoenix Ford dealer that had a Black Bullitt sitting out front. I had them start the car up, and I must say it sounded really nice. Much deeper than a stock GT, and I liked the sound better than my 06 w/ Bassani catback on it. I also really liked the look of the car, very subtle, although I like the stance of the Shelby GT a little better.

I am going back later this week to drive it, I am seriously thinking about getting this (I don't have my 06 vert anymore).

Hi. I'm a n00b to these forums, but I figured I'd give you a heads up when I read this thread. I've been debating on whether to lease a new Mustang and I came across a Bullitt in Cincinnati yesterday. You were mentioning the dealer mark-up. Interestingly enough, this dealership was willing to sell it to me at X-plan (100 over invoice making it $29,400). I didn't buy it since this is not going to be my daily driver and I don't want to go in that deep. I think I'm going to find a Cobra 98-2001 that I can buy in the 10 or 11K dollar range. Anyway, if you guys are serious about buying a Bullitt you ought to give those guys a call. I don't have a link, but it's Kerry Ford in Springdale,OH (tri-county Cincinnati area). Hopefully I'll be back soon with pics of my Cobra.

I would never buy the bullit. Only 15 more HP???

What is wrong with Ford? Every day imports put another 6banger out with 330BHP or more.

These import luxury sports models will be cheaper than the bullit with its ridiculous mark up.

Now I read that the 2010 V6 will have a twin turbo and produce 400hp with almost as much tq.

The 2010 base GT might, MIGHT make 350bhp.

WTF???

The local dealership here has their bullit for 29,XXX sticker, and markup to about 34,XXX.  It sits next to 3 427R's and a Roush Roadster.

29xxx for a bullitt is reasonable, but 39 is rediculous, my dad got a c6 with 5k on it for 33,000. .  mint condition 400hp.  the bullitt is cool but now worth that kinda money

Considering in my area of California I can get a 03/04 termi for around 23-26k dpending on mileage. I wouldn't waste the money.
