Default K&N Air Filter

I got a K&N drop-in air filter tonight from my father as a birthday gift. I was pretty excited to get that. I initially planned on the K&N CAI, but I'm enjoying the filter. It seems the car has a bit more tug to it... especially at takeoff. Not a humongous difference, but I can certainly feel it.

Just makes the machine louder leading youbelieve is quicker. Same with any CAI you would install, tuned or untune type. Dual exhaust helps some but waste too, other than for looks.

Maybe I'm in the minority, or maybe it's my switch to synthetic oil last week, my tire rotation (also last week), and the K&N filter, but I definitely do feel a little bit more power. It's mostly when I accelerate from a stop. (Though I doubt the rotation has anything to do with it). My father noticed it as well. Now I've just gotta stick that little K&N sticker on top of the airbox.

I'm not sure if I'm going to tune it yet, but my next mod (when I get my tax return) is duals with an X. I'm going to get a second AeroTurbine and probably the JBA X pipe and midpipes, which I think is what Fallout did. Then probably the sequential tail lights, and then maybe a tune and UDPs. I try to take it one mod at a time.

And thanks, OIIIIO!
