It actually has made it easier to drive at night. With the back at 15% it cuts the headlights down to the point that they are not blinding. With my sides at 55% you don't even notice it at night.

During the day it cuts the amount of light and head down dramatically too!

mine doesn't bother me at night, I don't back out of my driveway, and when I back in, it's well lit. All headlights are perfectly clear, just darker.

#edit
I'd say the worst time to have it is actually during the day when it's rainy...cause out the side and back it looks like it's night time and not everyone puts their lights on.

I just got mine tinted yesterday. 5% on back & rear quarters, 35% on door glass, looks GREAT!

Remember you guys,, DO NOT USE WINDOW CLEANER THAT HAS AMMONIA IN IT!! It will cause the tint to get foggy/cloudy.

139 is a good price. I have 5% all the way around + the windshield strip (even though the pic is shatty and you can't tell) cost me 150 bucks. I got a guarantee as well. The darker you go the better it looks IMO. Just be careful, if they enforce the tint laws in your area and you go beyond the limit you will get cited. They don't enforce it here in Florida.

I'm glad they don't enforce the laws in my city. I have 5% all around and 35% on my windshield.... Looks mean!! Here are pics http://www.cardomain.com/ride/855799

Tint... hmm...

I got tint on my 96 GT and my 99 Cobra... did NOT get it on the 02 WRX, (living in Alaska... sun is GONE half the year), and now I have the 05 Vert. I don't think I am going to get tint on the convertible, since I have 2 cars now and mostly drive it with the top down. BUT, something to keep in mind... on both my 96 and my 99, after a while I had a cut in my tint from the rollers of my windows... tint is thin... but not thin enough...

I have heard of "smoked glass", but only as a rumor... anyone know anything about it? While I don't plan to tint the Mustang, the Subie is a prime candidate for it... and I don't want to have to replace it after a few years of the windows rolling up and down.... up and down....
