if the hemi head was still like that then it couldnt pass emissions. the hemi head was the poorest design for emissions. the new hemi is a hemi in name only. it does have the same valve set up as the original. but why the hell does it mater to you ? it sells....so did the horrid attemp to bring back the gto ....rear wheel drive sunfire...lol

The MS6 was my daily driver when I actually cared about gas mileage...now that my commute is less than 2 miles I now drive the stang...and with the procharger its hands down more fun than anything I've owned other than my procharged 99 cobra which was probably equally as fun

the fact everytime a post takes place about a dodge in the performance tank lineup you need to say something about it and how either A. someone is wrong and/or they got lucky on the kill or B. my car did X time when it was this, so lets compare it to the car we are talking about
if you are here to talk about dodges I suggest you go to a dodge forum... if you want to talk about fords while owning a dodge vehicle then by all means... we have alot of GM guys who do the same, and quite frankly we are cracking down on it... so just a warning

Please, enlighten me as to how it was a horrid attempt. I would love to know, in which dept does the old GTO outperform the new one. I would also like to know what all parts the GTO and the Sunfire share.

I just remember a charger SRT8 guy that always did when he first joined and still pops in now and again... namely for threads like this (praising the 300C etc etc etc)... I'm suspecting I got two people confused now that I look at your posts though
let me clear a few things up... the GTO very fast car ...(6.0) and yes way better than the original performance wise. it just disappointed me with the looks..kinda grand prixish...but the sunfire comment i was just being an ass and doing what i hate to be done to me. for that i appologize. i posted here to show you what they are capable of and not to group us together. i have a best friend with a 06 stang and buddys with TA's and gtos ..i dont run around with all dodge guys and think i drive the end to all. i have been beat by gto's, stangs...hell i got beat by a silverado the other nite. he ran a damn 12.3 . i am a car guy i love all types..but i cant expect everyone to share my same views.. i acctually join here last year to read and help my buddy with the 06 stang... and we got it to do 13.4 with just and x pipe and magnaflows....not trying to be the tool that is one sided so if i came off that way again forgive me.. i just hate to see hemis get the slow pos card played by people who never been around them.
anyways i will continue to read here and learn to help my buddy ...and the reason i never post on any other threads on here is cause i would be talking out of my ass. i never owned a stang.

that challenger pic just made me laugh pretty hard, then sad to realize that that's how it really is
i would explain the way the rear ends on these cars work...but my 60ft with stock tires should tell you enough...i do wish it would lock all the time tho. hard to get a donut going..lol
