Default 2003 V6 Dual Exhaust- suggestions?

Hey yall,

I have an 03 Mustang with only a CAI on it currently. I don't have a ton of money but I am currently saving up for a dual exhaust. I've search forums and different posts for about a week on the subject but I still need help. I'm torn between finding gt takeoffs, getting dual exhaust custom made, or using MAC. Which is the cheapest, best for performance, and do I need an x or h pipe? Thank you all for your help!

Here's a link. Go down 5 items. You'll also need a new belt.

We put a GT takeoff on my wife's '04. Whatever you buy go with true duals. We also added a K&N FIPK, reflash with a Superchips Max Microtuner, and 4.10s w/ Trac Lok. Excellent performing car now, automatic transmission by the way.

sounds way better than stock. I'm thinkin' of going with the Pypes Performance Dual kit with X-crossover. Main reason are the down turned (tucked) tailpipes like the existing single exhaust. The V6 bumper with two tailpipes poking straight out from under the bumper just don't do it for me. Ya I know, I could get a GT bumper but then I get into extra costs and paint and ...[sm=smiley29.gif]

I'm with you on the tail pipes out the back. Not my fav. I might dump after the muffs. But don't waist your money on an X pipe. Just get an H pipe.
