Don't know if any of you guys have been to or have heard of this website/forum www.mustangexhaust.com I just made a visit cuz I saw a post on another 'stang forum. Thought I'd check to see what it was about and if it was for real. Pretty impressive IMO. You're able to listen and compare any exhaust from 3.8, 5.0 and 4.6. From Bassani, Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Dynomax, and Raven!! Best way to determine what your exhaust flavor will be!! Just a quick registration is all it takes.

Wow! A shop did a test for Magnaflow mufflers, they claimed 16RWHP JUST from upgrading the STOCK mufflers to Magnaflows (this isn't touching the manifolds OR cats OR the factory h-pipe).
16RWHP!!!! Seems to me like everyone is starting to see the excellence of Magnaflow..god damn!! Imagine an x-pipe with high-flow cats? I bet that would net 25+ hp, now...imagine some headers combined with that? Damn, that could be nearly 35-40hp for
$400 in mufflers, $200 for h-pipe or more for the X, $400 in jet hot coated shorties, both mufflers & h-pipe can be installed at home and I figure $500 for the shortie install.. now if you installed the headers yourself.. that's nearly 40hp for under a grand. The only way to beat that is Nitrous...

I really don't know much about the gains in hp you would see. I've been reading alot of the other posts about hp, exhaust preference, etc. and everyone seems to know their stuff. Are those numbers realistic or is that just a sales pitch?

Your welcome and no problem. When I saw it I was like Friggen HOORAH!! I've searched the internet far and wide for a website like that and SHAZAM! there it was!
I'm getting ready to purchase a catback but wanted to hear the different exhaust sounds and it aided in my decision...that for sure. I know there's alot of posts on exhaust sounds, exhaust choices, etc but I think it makes the decision process much easier when you can actually HEAR the exhaust you want to buy!!
