im going to the track on sunday, it's going to be in teh 40s or 50s with the humidity pretty high

my best time was in my sig. my mods then were bbk o/r x and a k&n filter with stock catback and on street tires
this time ill be going with...

micky thompson e/t streets (whichever the radial is)
bassani off road x
super 40s welded in
k&n filter

when i ran the 13.90 it was cold, but not as cold

my track is slightly below sea level...

im hoping for 13.8 or to trap 101

what do you guys think?

Why do you say that?? He already got a 13.9 on street tires. This time he'll be hookin better. Why would he get worse??

Running with MTs?

Damn. :D

Should get a decent 60 ft, and as long as you don't miss a gear when you shift with your automatic's clutch:eek: you should be good to go.

13.7's shouldnt be a problem on MT's if you ran a 13.9 without them

With the Mickey T's on the car, I'd say a 13.7 should be doable.

u getting those from david? u need a stall and shift kit in that auto bill. some suspension and tires and it will be a solid car!

ima say a 13.8 which is gonna be dam good for your mods! good luck if i dont dont go

Those tires are not going to make too much difference unless you're spinning bad on street tires. I have no idea if you are or not. Either way, you need a stall!!

I'm going to say 13.7

13.636 @ 101.673

I used a very specific, precise, scientific calculation to figure that out. If it's different from what I said. It's your fault.

^^haha nice

well, i would do a stall, but it's a DD and i still have a warranty on the car

also, i was spinning moderately before, but it wasnt as cold as it should* be this sunday - i still think it might be too much tire for the car, especially being able to stall only to 1800

I completly understand the warranty thing, but once it runs out, don't be scared of a stall mixed with daily driving. Unless you go with something out there like a 4k stall, it'll be very comfortable as a DD. 3K stalls are very liveable, especially with 3.73s, you'll hardly notice it.

I seriously think you could get the numbers I mentioned above. DR's can do wonders for your ET and generally not as much for your trap. My car went from 13.00 @110.xxxto 12.45 @111.25with the additions of a DRs, practice and the right conditions. Track prep was good that day and the stars aligned...

It's funny, when I go to the track it takes 3-4 runs for me to get my stuff together and start running consistant fast runs.

EDIT to my OP:

without a stall, you will run slower, im speaking from experience here ;)

Won't the car just BOG with the stock 1800 stall....er whatever its called?

Billy should just do a 4k neutral slam. :D:D:D

I'll vote 13.7! I'm an optimist!
