ok my car is still acting up. i got a new primary wire still nothing. my ground wire in my distributor is touching something and its grounding out. do i need a new distributor or should i just replace the ground wire?

Replace the ground wire its the cheapest thing to do.

I would just replace the Ground wire if you are sure thats what the problem is as its definitely a hell of a lot cheaper than a new dizzy!!Good Luck with it!
