Hey, i have a d3 coming in the mail, my question is that do you really need a reistior or w.e and which one exactly. Ive been reading a bunch of threads and its very confusing. Also how and where do u connect this. And i had after market subs installed so how would i go about installing that to the d3. Please any help would be great. Please if theres anything i need to know, let me know.

the problem is that the stock deck sends out a +6v remote turn on(this is a wire that has voltage on it when the deck is on to tell the amps to turn on) for the factory amps, where EVERY other radio uses a +12v remote turn on.  IF you are wiring a new deck into a mach system then you might need it if there is a turn on pop(there normally is).  It does not hurt anything, it just sounds bad.
