I have an automatic, and the shift indicator is not working properly. The plastic sheath that slides back and forth with the orange bar indicator on it is stuck in park. When I move the shifter into any gear, there is actually a gap I can see down into the shift mechanism. The shifter itself moves fine. I love to fix stuff like this myself and don't want to take to the dealer. I searched the other forums and got no info on this problem. Anyone else had to deal with this?
