HOW-TO Install AVIC-D3 w/out Shaker (LOTS OF PICS!!!) - 1/19/2008 4:22:53 PM  Boozshey   Posts: 1838 Joined: 5/19/2005 Status: offline I bought the dash kit and wire harness from Circuit City. Not sure of the part number, just ask them for it, they will know. THIS IS A WITHOUT SHAKER INSTALL!!! For a shaker install goto http://www.mustangforums.com/m_4469990/tm.htm Tools: Solder Iron Heat gun/Hair Dryer Razor Philips Screwdriver Small Flat Dead Screwdriver (smaller the better) Pliers Wire Cutters Wire Strippers Materials: Wire Coat Hanger Solder Heat Shrink Tubing Electric Tape Wire Coat Hanger Zip Ties Sorry no peanut butter in this one... THE NEXT 2 ARE THE BYPASS STEPS!!! RE: HOW-TO Install AVIC-D3 (LOTS OF PICS!!!) - 1/20/2008 5:55:31 PM    MUSTANGLOVER73   Posts: 353 Joined: 1/12/2008 Status: offline http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg94/MUSTANGLOVER73/Picture007.jpg pics of my avic-d3. i added the lifetime sirius, the ipod adaptor, the backup camera, and i had the bypass installed so that i could have the dvd player run while driving. word of advice, if you guys wnt to add a backup camera then you can buy one for $100 off of ebay. the name of it is a boyo and i read a few reviews with nothing but positives. i bought it and love it. it comes on automatically when you put the car in reverse and it works pretty good at night as well. better than the $250 one that pioneer sells. also it bolts to your license plate bracket so no drilling holes or sticking anything to your paint (in reply to Boozshey) Post #: 20
