If I had $100K, I'd buy a Viper.
It has always looked sick.
Turns heads.
Big, bold engine.
Hot cabin.
Vibrates your fillings loose.
Photogenic at every single angle.
Parts highways like Moses did the sea.
Scares your nieces.
Bastardizes your nephews.
Gets you laid.
And a bad case of gonorrhea.

Or I'd put a down payment on a vacation home.

:)

I love the look of a Viper! A guy down the street has a yellow one w/black stripes that he only drives on sunny days.

Here are some pictures I took of a 2008 Viper SRT/10 at the auto show this past weekend;

wow....with most of these responses, looks like stang loyalty is starting to run thin. in that case i would get a '59 and '63 impala, do a balls out restore on both, hydro them, throw on some 13" daytons and feature both in LowRider magazine with hot car hoochies layed out all over them.......then auction them off to japanese lowrider enthusiasts for $200,000......then, do it all over again  .

Nah Sancho805, I'm not a trader.  I do love my stangs, but I have always loved the Viper since it first debuted. Part of it is because it is a dream machine that was designed by Carol Shelby and the other is the artistic design.

My dream has always been to have a huge warehouse where I could collect my dream cars (like Jay Leno).....of course I would have to have many models of Mustangs too.

I would get a 67-69 fastback.  Hands down first choice.

Sancho, you have a great idea.  My mom is an original owner of a 65 GTO and I would love to take that money and drop it into that car, but I would not sell it for anything.  I also have a 60’ Impala and a 53’ Chrysler vert that I would love to restore.  Both of them have been in bad shape for years and sitting out in the weather so it would probably take the entire 100k.

ive driven a buddys 2008 GT500 and i would definitly buy one if i had the money. every time he brings that thing around i have to go rub one out next to it. it takes very little modding to make them a 10 second car and it will pull the front wheels off the ground. that impresses me more than any GM or DODGE piece of CRAP and i do mean crap.

Well, the ZR1 Corvette will be going for over $100,000. It's in a whole different league from the GT500KR, or the new Super Snake.
Still ne confirmed price on the new GT500KR, but I saw them pull up next to me, Carroll Shelby got in, and they auctioned off the rights to the first one with vin#001.
This one had the glass roof, flat black stripes (etched into the glass roof also) and different wheels. It was a little too similar to the current GT500... or even a regular GT. We have no idea what the #1 will eventually look like.
