Check with Tirerack or any local rim and tire shop like Discount tire, pep boys, belle tire, etc they should have something about what rims (aftermarket) would fit the brembo brake package. Remember if you can fit the thickness of a (one) card (say ace of spades) between the rim and the caliper your are fine and they fit. Saw that on 2 guys garage or somewhere on the speed channel.  I do not think you will have a problem and did the person that told you they wont fit actually try to put them on a GT500?
