Hey!  I'm looking for some tips on installing pinned lettering on the trunk lid of my '05 GT.  I don't want to cut off the pins and use 3M tape for the install.  I prefer the flush to the paint look in contrast to the raised from the paint finished look when using 3M tape.  The way I was going to do it was:  Make a template, drill the holes, clean the holes with rust inhibiting acid, touch up the bare metal with POR 15 rust proof marine paint and then use some silicone on the pins and insert them.  Any experts out there know of a better way?
