2003-mach stereo-need help plz...im a girl and dont know alot!!

I just boughta 2003 gt, i replaced my stock 6 cd changer with an Alpine. i bought a harness and there were still 2 plugs left (both are square). My speakers dont sound the same, what do i need to do to get the mach system working?

your factory subwoofers are not on, and now the tweeters are playing full range so they do not sound good either. I would give you the same advise I gave him to connect the blue and blue and white stripped wires together. How are you making your connections?

I would get rid of the mach system completly. My amp rack along with all my mach speakers are sitting in my room i went with a pair of three ways running off the sony xav-7w tv, and a set of components from alpine in the back with a simple ten for around 300.

what harnesses did you buy? in 2003, ford changed the harness for the mach 460 but most websites dont recongize it for some reason...you need to use the metra 70-1771 and 70-5519. you should've had 3 harnesses in the back of the stock radio. you will only reuse 2 of them, just leave the other alone cause it'll be dead without the stock headunit. after you do that, your radio should more or less return to the way it was. i say that because if your headunit doesnt have subwoofer output control, then the sound will be distorted. i strongly recommended getting a headunit that does. it will GREATLY improve sound quality.
