So today I was reassured in what I already knew, that 6er owners are just better. I'm from Cleveland and we are having some terrible weather with snow. I'm driving in it (obviously) and I pass another V6 Stang and the guy driving it sees me and we exchange looks and point to each others cars in appriciation. Didn't see any other RWDs on the road except that one today. And that is why 6ers are better.

I've always been able to get around in sloppy weather (born/raised in IA on ice & snow) but I've never had a 'good' Mustang experience in the cold & wet.  My only tip is that they drive better in REVERSE than forward when you get stuck.  When the snow piles up, I take out the wifey's Taurus.  Can't beat FWD (or AWD) in that game.

Well yes FWD are technically better but I guess I was more along the lines of Mustang owners being better than other RWD owners such as a Camaro, because I didn't see any on the road. Made me even more proud of the Stang.

So this is the reason 6ers are better than what? Are you talking about the friendly acknowledgment of eachother's cars? Cause I'll tell you, V6 Mustang drivers suck at that. 90% of them look at you like you have three heads when you wave. I don't bother waving to sixers anymore because of that.

Yeah most people that own sixers aren't enthusiasts. Might as well just wave at random people.

I wave at random people, is that a bad thing? lol I like to think that I am a car enthusiast and I own a 6. I have and will continue to do things to my car, does that make me different than most other 6's or just the same type of dumbass?

No one ever waves at me... I do get a flipped off a lot, People don't like random people waving at them I guess? There is a woman with an 04 termi and a 98 Cobra that always waves at me. Her family is pretty awesome though. They have the 04 termi with 475 rwhp, the 98 Cobra vert. is stock, a 2004 Lightning with 500rwhp, and a 1988 GT with a 351 in it that has close to 600rwhp. They are a ford family. lol

I wasn't trying to put anyone down about anything I was just making the point he had a 6 and so did I.  I mean if I had an 8 then the V8's would be better.  Didn't realize this would offend so many people.

I don't really wave at mustang drivers anymore.  The only time i wave is when i can tell a stang has been modded.  That way you know you are waving to an enthusiest, and not some guy/chick who thinks a mustang is just another car.

Yeah it's sad but true, I used to wave to other sixers, but never got the same response back.
Last night a red same year GT parked next to me at the movies after i cleaned my car, and was like sleek car man, love the black, and i commented back and we went on our way.
btw cloverfield is crazy haha.

I'll wave to sixer owners if they wave first, I just won't make the first move with them.

And are you going to E-town this year? I'm gonna be soooo much more prepared this time around.

If you end up going when the season starts, shoot me a PM or something. My AIM is Xemeth. There's a track closer to me in NY, but I really like E-town and I'd head down once or twice during the summer before Ford at Englishtown again in Oct or Nov. I'm definately going to that every year, though.
