Doing the Whipple HO, black, with a 7psi pulley for starters.  Will also be installing the separator and a new radiator while I'm at it.

So which is best the moroso Or the steffs?   They come about to the same price.  I think the moroso looks meaner and the stefs looks like a retarded puppet.

Stef's Fabrication 5122 130.99(-10 size)
MOR-63401 3" can bracket 6.95
SPE-3260 5/8" clamps (qty-2) 13.90
EAR-403010ERL 3ft -10 Perform-O-Flex hose 32.39
EAR-812010ERL -10 120* swivel-seal hose end 25.95
EAR-800110ERL -10 straight swivel-seal hose end 10.95

Moroso costs 96.95 but you need the reducers -12 to -10 which costs 33.50 so the price is the same for both.

So which one should I get since both costs the same.  I think I might go with the moroso one.

Yet again I got the HP performance kit so I gotta look well into that because if it is unmetered air i will just get a catch can.  But the good thing about a separator is that you can install a vacuum pump to it in the long run for a extra few ponies.

Since they are merely 'cans' - I really don't think one is 'better' than the other. I went with the moroso purely based on availability at the time at summit and because I like the way it looks.

Personal preference - as I said early in the thread, IMO - the important thing is the lines and fittings...

i also got a straight mounting bracket so i could mount it a little away from the heat shield so it can fit w/ the whipple.  got the idea from hammerons how to bumbleboost page, he used an L bracket.  i also gotta bend the bracket maybe 10-20 degrees to get it to fit right, probly putting it in this weekend.

I got the morosso, since the Stefs can was back ordered and I heard all the people on here waiting so long.  I am doing mine in 2-3 weeks and am still going to try and mount it custom to the shock tower.

This is one of the longest posts I have seen 16 pages and counting.

Okay guys, please don't take this the wrong way but I took mine off the car and am going to sell the whole kit for about $125.00 (good deal for someone...lol)

I still think this mod is great and not taking it off because it's not good. I'm doing a custom vent to atmoshphere on both sides with individual breathers.

For my particular set-up - I think this is best. But again, just for my set-up - for most of you guys, this seperator discussed in the thread is still the best way to go.

I'll post up pics in this thread next week when I get the car back and show you the set-up I am doing.

CK

Aren't you out in California?  How do you pass inspection with that car?

I don't need a smog inspection till 2011 and when I do I have the cats, midpipe, ect. to make it legal in a days work but I also have 'friends' if I decide not not even bother and just buy a cert...

In CA - new cars don't have to be get cert for 6 years. Putting mine back to legal for the day would be a full day of work but not a big deal if I needed to.

This is how I plan to do mine as well since I change the oil every 2000 mi or so and I can clean the valve covers vary easy and I dont mind the smell of oil as long as its not in the exhaust. I look forward to seeing your pics >

I know some of you have been looking for 5/8 caps so here is what I found this morning at Napa.
pn 715-1806 assorted 1/8 - 3/8
pn 715-1805 3/8 5 pack
pn 660-1696 5/8 2 pack

The 5/8 2 pack are labeled bypass cap and not vac. caps but they are the same thing.
