Fudge.
It's taken me about two weeks to get all the stuff in. The stef's can finally got delivered last night and NO male -10 connectors on the can, just the drain plug .. seems just like GTRay. Bummer.
I believe I am now looking to Summit for (2) SUM-220032B -10 AN union male-to-male adapters. (I see most of you went with the blue/red thing, but used Earls anotdized black fittings.)
Very high quality unit. Was able to squeeze it in just behind the stock air box. Much cheeper than what most of you guys have been going with. Was not able to use sight glass due to space. Ran drain line under car for drainage each time I change oil. Again very high quality for price I paid. I will try and get picture of install this weekend.
i have a hardware store near me, that has every kind of threaded adapter a person could want/need.....so for me, that would not be a serious inconvenience....
i realize tho that not everyone has a store like this at their disposal

just called summit. they checked the stefs catalog and it has the 5122 photod with just the female connectors, no males so I ordered 2 SUM-220032B to make this work.
BTW, Flowmaster American Thunders for 4.6GT FLO-17410 only 279.xx. Goes up to $369. tomorrow!
THIS CLOSE (my thumb and forefinger are really close) THIS CLOSE to pulling the trigger......but calmer minds prevail.....

either one will work with the whipple, there's room enough if you have to use the adapters/reducers.....
yea, plenty room w/ the whipple, which is one of the reasons i chose whipple instead of the centri. and i saw your how to's in the bumbleboost page and added it to my favorites, very helpful stuff.

I wouldn't waste my money on any of those. Also the tubing they come with is likely to collapse under vacuum. It will probably work fine at first, but once it heats up a few times it will soften and collapse.

I can assure you that this is a quality unit (tank itself). Yes the hose that comes with the Megan unit is garbage. In addition, I could not use the sight glass. Plumbed the drain hose down under near the oil filter to drain at each oil change. Just bearly had the room to get it in behind the air box.

Which blower is that? I've never seen that placement of the alternator.
EDIT* Just noticed you used fuel line for your PCV line. It will eventually collapse under vacuum. Keep an eye on it.

Fuel line is what whipple supplies. It shouldn't collapse.

Whipple instructs you to insert a section of hard plastic tubing scavenged from your original PCV line into their supplied PCV line specifically because fuel line WILL collapse under vacuum. Trust me, getting that plastic tubing into the supplied line was one of the most difficult steps of the entire whipple install.
