My car went a 6.88 at 95 mph with a 1.65 60 ft. I wasn't driving though and it was a 600 ft track. Should run 7.2s or so the way it was. The gas has been bumped up now and I should have my car back goin soon. Shootin for a 7.0 on a 660 ft track if she hooks. Good luck to everyone else this year. May all parts stay together.

V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you''''''''re fast.
oh and all these times were on my 17inch wheels and radial tires all the way around... no extra weight take out just like i drive the car on the street almost daily.

NICE TIMES EVERYONE! Everybody should be on the list. 03GTJC, you're up, but make sure and get involved a bit and get that post count up.
LOOK AT THE FI 1/8 LIST! The times are in PERFECT order from best to worst 60ft! Instead of spending money on power trying to get better times, throw on some D/R's/Control arms/Shocks/Struts/etc....... Every FI car on the list is making more power than me N/A, but I am out ET'ing 6/7 FI cars in the 1/8 on motor. With used tires, used C/A's and junkyard springs! The only FI car beating me N/A is one that cuts a better 60ft! Do you see a pattern here? I'm not saying my car is faster than a FI 4.6, but merely trying to display the importance of a decent 60ft. And I understand not everyone wants a hook and book car that runs good at the track. I understand that we aren't talking about drag cars, but more in the daily driver catagory. Power is more fun on the street, and being fast from a 40 roll is fun as hell, but if you are a track guy like me, then there you go.

zw is giving some goodadvice. taking weigh of the front and working on weight tansfer is gonna be one of the most important things.. tire and wheel setups do make a differnce but a properly setup suspension will hook with anything. im 60 fting similar or beter times than guys running bigs and litles with real slicks. andi am on 17 inch wheels and tires all the way around.. im still using dragradials too. battey relocation k members and such will make a huge differnce and help withtraction a ton both on the track and on the street...
