I'm new to owning a convertible and was wondering what the best cleaner is to use on the top. There are a couple of darker colored stains on it and I would like to try and get them off. Thanks

Justin3 01-15-2008, 08:53 AM Its tan and vinyl. contrail1 01-15-2008, 09:16 PM I'd like to know too, I've tried different cleaners and as much as they advertise, none of them worked... LX200 01-15-2008, 10:31 PM RaggTopp is the best.... cleaner and protectant http://www.autopia-carcare.com/wps-2148.html and http://www.autopia-carcare.com/wps-1141.html Justin3 01-16-2008, 08:52 AM Sweet thanks for the info. Margarita Girl 01-16-2008, 06:15 PM If you have some serious stains on a white/tan top, you can try a product with bleach in it. I use Tilex Mildew on my vinyl camper awning and it works well. Also heard of using Clorox Cleanup. For regular protectant and to enhance the black, I like Mothers Preserves Protectant. Justin3 01-18-2008, 02:12 PM Cool thanks I will give it a try. I just have 2 smaller stains that are an eye sore to me. RaggTopp works great ... not too hard to use either. You can't go wrong with it ... although I have a fabric top, not vinyl. [/align] |
