just to let you all know i ate a cobra either a 99 or 2k1 last night. what a joke. i feel pity for all of you guys wasting money on your GT's to make it a hairlength faster. think about it, 200 bucks for a cai, another 200 for ud pullies, 500 for headers, all a waste of money. at least for the gains you get out of them. don't believe half of what you hear. i have a 96 Lt1 w/ 500 bucks stuck into it and will beat all your slow stangs...so i ask why waste the money on something you really will never be able to achieve? that is run with the big boys, cause who really cares if you beat rice, they are in there own little world anyway. i seriously would stop wasting money on all those little mods that say add 10 hp, 20 hp, blahh blahh, its not happening. if you want a faster car you already goofed up by getting a stang!!

You're an ass.  So if you "ate" a mid 13s car, what do YOU run, and what mods do YOU have?

Umm, nobody really cares what you think about mustangs.  You are one voice, not the world dude..  hey, btw, good luck saving up for a corvette when you trade in since they no longer make camaro.  Sure, for the expensive ass price of a camaro, they should be faster than a gt.  Try to line up with an 03 Cobra... I will buy the dish so you will have something to put your sliced up ass in...lol

ok, one you will learn to care, 2 i would hope if anyone intends to buy a 35k+ mustang they should expect to beat a 96 LT1, although there could be a lot of disappointment there. either way you are gettin raped by insurance, all i'm saying is that the GT is a joke, and don't understand why you want to keep blowin your money on worthless mods!! the only smart one redneck did was the short throw shifter.

um, buddy... a '99 GT is every bit as quick as an LT1 F-body, and a helluva lot nicer.  I like F-bodies, but you're just being a big asshole for no reason.  There are cheaper ways to go fast than a '96 LT1 as well.

$500 to make it fast, sounds like he GOT NAWWWWS!!!

Yay. Woot.

Big fat hairy deal. Quit reacting and he'll get bored and leave. There's always somebody faster. I'm fairly certain that I could wax an early/mid 90's Camaro. But who cares? I certainly don't.

Ok, I can go to my friendly ford dealer and walk out with a mach1 for $37,000.  If the they still made the chevy stuff I would be dishing out at least $50,000 for a mullet mobile. 50,000-37,000=13,000.  You put that $13,000 into the Mach=good luck chevy.  The mustang is affordable for the younger people to get into it.  the aftermarket is awsome. All I see in overpriced chevy stuff (everything trucks, cars, SUV's all of it is overpriced) are mostly baby boomers that don't even know what a race is.  Yes the Mustang is slower-factory- but, big BUT, for thousands less than a camaro it can be faster.  Anyway who wants to lift the motor to change the plugs!  And Mustangs look better too!  I had a camaro.  What the hell was I thinking!

Dude... WTF are you talking about.  You can drive out with a Mach 1 for like, $24-$25K right now.  That kinda took your whole argument out of context.  If the LS1 SS was still being made, it'd be about $26-$27K, just like it always was.

Mustangs have True Exhaust.

Mustangs are Cheaper.

Mustangs Look a heck of a lot better.

I'm sure your car is on the bottle, and I'm sure it's fast alright, and for the money you paid I'd sure hope it is...unless your parents bought it for you...?

Your opinion doesn't matter.

Nobody here gives a care what you think.

This is a mustang Forum, not a camero forum.

Go home.

You didn't need to come in here boasting about your car, that you paid to much for...

My car was $5,700..... and I only wish I had true duals though, they won't fit w/o a lot of work. And what is a 50,000 mullet mobile? A ZO6? If so, mullet here I come.

I forgot, good point with the plugs, they're bitches.

PS: I hate it when people say camero, it's camaro and who knows, he may have a Pontiac....95LT137932.6469097222

Yeah, the Mach 1 was rated at 305 hp...they underrated cover their asses so they wouldn't have another recall for the overrated hp like on the 99 cobras...really those Mach 1's are pushin 320-325 hp..
