A stock WS6 with a good pair of DR's on the back after a good warm can run  pretty low 13's all day. harvey04137934.0493981481

Or it can run a 12.99 on stock tires with a hi-flo lid and subframe connectors

Man, ALL of you are worthless. I work with a guy who's DAILY DRIVER goes from 0-60 in 1.28 seconds and covers a 1/4 mile with a 1.98 ET. Of course, I work on a carrier and my friend's daily driver is an F/A-18E Super Hornet, but that's beside the point...

The point, in case you missed it, is to each unto their own. Now, can we get back to talking about something that matters? I mean, at least once a month we get a retard like this on the board.

I won an 86 5.0 GT and eat camaros alice in their lil P.O.S 305's.... Im thinking the only Camaros worth anything are the late 60's early 70's modles. LOL i dont see where people come off with theier bottle of nos thinking they can smoke any car out there. Wow i wish i could actually meet a few of these "boasters" and make them cry when their daddy bought car gets smoke by an old classic 5.0
You do know that from like 90+ they don't come with 305's right? Mostly all of them come with LT1's and LS1's from 93+.

Heh, you probably raced LO3 305's in early Z28's and RS's. If you ran into a 5 speed TPI 305 you wouldn't be bragging, and if you ran into an L98 it would do some serious damage.

um... that comment was referring to the unusually fast times I see when I go to the track, so how would that make them crappy?

Wow you can beat a 305 with YOUR POS 302. (which isn't even a true 5.0) All I can think of to say is...watch out for the 350s.

The fact is, Mach 1's run low 13's at the track, they aren't high 13 second cars, plain and simple.  Just like the million of GT hardtop's that are 1999+ that everyone sees running mid/high 14's. They are high 13, very LOW 14 second cars with any capable 5 speed driver. Do some research and you'll see this.
They are rated at 13.9, so figure that they will probably run 13.7-13.8 with a perfect driver and a bit of tail-wind on a perfect day.
No.  A Mach 1 has significantly more power than a GT.  And it breathes better.  I believe 13.4 is fully achievable by anyone that can drive worth a damn, while 13.2 is "perfect."  And btw... I have a friend with an '02 WS6 6-speed that ran a 12.99 @ 110mph+ in 40 degree weather, with a horrible 2.15 60' time.

I know Dan... I've been saying that the whole time

Right. You beat 350s that weren't trying. Apparently I don't know what I'm talking about because your whopping 200 hp is just too much for other V8s to handle. s**t dude I've beat a early 90s 5.0 GT in my 92 Escort gt for Gods sake. Sucks to be the person that can't time a light.

mustangsareslow, this site if for mustang lovers.  If you dont like mustangs, then why are you here??  I suggest you go to a camero site and stay away from this site.  Nobody wants to hear your opinion on mustangs.
