Looks GREAT!

What color is that?  Almost looks like a pearl or something in the paint.
Very sharp!

There is a shop about a mile from my work. I drive by it all the time. There is a constant flow of a lot of nice looking (old) cars leaving the shop, and they have done some insurance work for me in the past.

He has a yard full of classic cars and trucks in back in differing stages of restoration, I think most of these are his. I kind of like dealing with a fellow rodder/restorer.

He is looking to sell a 63 Falcon convert if anyone is looking...

For the sake of full disclosure, we painted the engine compartment, door jambs, and interior prior to getting the car painted, we also gave the shop the paint we had mixed... my cost for the paint was nearly $200.00 for the gallon we gave him.

They did all of the bodywork, (dings, etc. no major), filled the antenna hole, removed the door handles, front and rear valance, grille grill trim and some other stuff....

They didn't put any of this back, but for the price, this is way more than cool with me.

There are a few blems here and there, and we will color sand in a month or so, but overall I feel we got way more than our moneys worth.

VF--- no daylight pictures yet. We have not been able to work on the car since last Saturday, and this weekend is not looking so good either. We have a lot of stuff to clean up and reassemble.

Hopefully soon, I wanted to get it together first but this is going much slower than I had planned...

Maybe I will take tomorow off work....

Only about 265 miles from Tucson,,,,

I will probably be going to Sierra Vista this weekend,,, so I wont get much done on the car this week..

I have a Niece and Nephew in Tucson, and most of my family in AZ.

Never thought I would leave myself, but now I love Las Cruces!!
