Some punk in a '97 SL2 auto said he ran 14.8's......with a DC header (not made) that he had to sell to help pay for a new tranny, a Greddy exhaust which he also had to sell for the tranny (not made), had a chipped PCM (it's not chipable), an AEM intake for about a year (it came out about 2 months ago).
No f**kin way, I took his ass from the line to the tower when all I've got my lil japetofied intake.

Went to the track last tuesday, and on my first race i got lined up against a 99 civic si. He had stickers, rims,a wing, and a ton of guages. So ive got my windows down and i can hear him talking to his buddy about how he hopes that his turbo timer is set right, and blah, blah, blah. We get to the lanes and i mow down the tree on him. I ran a .110 light. I had him the whole way. There was one point where he started to move on me, but i just reached down and hit the button. I ran a 13.4 to his 15.1. But he had vtec shouldnt he have won?

Somehow I think you still would have beat him without the juice, vtec who cares? Like I said I don't usually hate on anybody, but I can't justify dumping tons of $ on these little cars just to be kind of quick. Very little money into my car compared to what they usually spend, and I walk away from them very quickly. This is usually with my car full of family and groceries. HA HA HA Oh well different strokes for different folks, I guess?

...just got my new ride not too long ago (GTauto2003)and already had a Maxima wanting some. Kept revving his engine at every light. He never got a chance on the next one, I think he's still sitting there!

In march i went to the track and the second time i ran was against a 2002 corvette zo6 and he had slick and thats all that i saw well he took off better than i did cause he had slicks and i didn't and i was like three car lengths behind him and about half way down the track i caught up to him and at the very end i beat him by a hundreth of a second. 11.87 to a 11.88. I was really impressed with my car after that.

I have to share this story.......my mustang friends.
Two days ago I had to work at another town because of lack of people and so I did. It was about a hour away from home. Well after I closed that night, I seen a 76 camaro start to follow me. He was about two cars behind me. This was a kid that had done some work to his car. What ever that means. I seen that small block 350 coming towards me at a good speed to pass me. I was doing about 70mph. And then as soon as he tryed to pass me I floored it because I have a stock 95 conv. gt. And i said to my self, "I better floor it to keep up". And so he was about to whoop up on me. But I hit it back to 4th at 5600rpm. And he never seen me again. I was gone, doing about 117mph. I bet he was pissed that this heavy car kicked his a&^.....hahahah them chevy boys....that really made feel good about my car.

For the first time I seen a riced out volvo, all the usual stickers and fart can hanging out the back. It was a turbo, and the guy in it thought he was something special.Any way he started reving,I let off the brake rolled back and gave him a car lenghth. Light turned green he took off I waited untill he was another car lenght ahead, and then nailed it. I pulled on him so fast when I looked over the expression on his face was priceless, I walked away from him to 100 and then shut it down.Thought the turbo volvo's were fast?

There's a guy down here in SD that I hang out with, along with all my friends. All my friends have 5.0's, but this guy has a 4 door auto Acura Legend V6. Last night, two guys in 4.6's (both stock with exhaust) came up to where we hang out, they knew one of my friends. The guy in the Legend wanted to race. Now, this Legend is completely stock with a muffler and cold air. Not to mention a 4 door automatic. He ended up beating the faster of the two 4.6's. It was kinda funny cuz we all knew his car was quick for what it was, everybody but the guy's in the 4.6's. They were both talking" you don't want to race, you got a v6". I had to laugh, cuz the car is damn quick for a Legend.

Right after getting my convertible LX assembled, I had some young kid pull up next to me in a drop top GT. The kid was reving and reving. So I kinda gave him a smile. Then the kid started to notice that my car had a lump at idle (car is black so kinda hard to tell unless you look close). His jaw droppped hard. It was great. Needless to say, when the light turned green I was gone and he rolled away from the light not even making an effort to pursue me.

camshaft. I have a decent sized lunati in her. you can hear it thru the exhaust, but gotta pay attention to hear it. got 3 chambers on it to keep the noise level down a bit so at idle she aint the loudest.

I still can't get anyone here to fool with my 03 cobra. I do enjoy eating some rice in my work truck(usually with an extra thousand pounds of lumber and tools in the back)

By lump...I think you mean lope, kind of goes unsaid. Engine lope...And tell your buddy in the "stock" legend that I have a 99 BONE STOCK GT 5spd and Id like to see him pull me. People forgot what fast was a long time ago. 13's are now fast...When you get into the 11's and 10's your JUST GETTING THERE...Acura makes one car, a very over priced car, thats worth its salt in a race, and you have to be a millionair to own one. NSX.

The Stang, was a 98 with the gay ass heads. We ALL know, Legend boy including, that a 99+ would hand him his ass. Don't get offended, everybody knows stock 96-98 were dogs. He's wanted a 5.0 for years, but money hasn't permitted it, but he has made the best out of what he's got. I totally respect that car because of what it's capable stock. I wouldn't mind owning one as a DD.

No, I meant to say lump in the idle. You may say lope where you are from, but I know everybody here says lump. Lopey? Dont sound right... Lumpy... just right.

Converted, do you have the Vortech supercharger? What do you have hiding? ;)
We have a guy that hangs at the CL forum that has a "Vobra" that would ruin anyone on the list but is still a great sh!t. You must screw if you have the SC. :)
