One of my buddies in auto tech for christmas got a 1994 ford lightning, and all hes done for the past week was brag and tear everyone else up about his NON sc lightning. So i go up to him and say hey ill race you in my v6 mustang, he laughs! And then says ok today how bout? SO we went to our spot(safe, no cars or public every goes on)and we line up, he leans over and puts his 3 fingers out the car, i didnt want to start like that but whatever, 3.....2.....1...... go, off we go and we neck for neck ti;; 20 and then..........IME gone , i never would of thought i could take a n/a 5.7 liter v8 with a bassani exaust, intake headers and custom tuned! All the way to 105 i was ahead 5 cars and he was all the way in it to, twice i won! He gave me a congragulations for it and said he never would of guessed, these cars have so much potential! So now ime going to go baby the girl wash and wax her!

Ya the technology has come so far and to say its a v6 and it can take down a v8 with some light mods is pretty impressive, ford did a pretty good job with our cars performance!

Yea not taking anything at all from your kill but something is wrong with his truck...it must be sick. Sure our 4.0's modded will outperform alot of V8's, but not a 5.7 liter that is modded just the same or more than yours. He has exhaust, intake, tune, a low gear and lsd??? His truch must be very very sick....like the infectious sick not the "thats awesome" sick.
