Hi everyone, I hope someone knows the difference. There seems to be people who swear up and down they are right but an equal amount of peple say different. I am looking for some convertible glass. I can probably buy a coupe parts car for about $900 but I wont need it if the glass doesnt fit. My question is, are the windshield, vent windows and door windows the same on a coupe as they are for a convertible? Oh yea, I'm talking about a 1968 convertible mustang. I've been told that they are the same all around by a bunch of people but then I've been told only the windshield is different, then others say only the windshield and vent windows are different... I dont know. I hope someone with experience can answer this question.

Thanks everyone.

Auto glass is auto glass far as I know. I had the windshield replaced on my '99 GT Vert and there was no issue.

The glass within the convertible top is different, as some are plastic.

The glass should be the same... My grandad has a 65 vert and my dad has a 65 hardtop, as far as I know the only difference is the back window...since its not glass on a vert. but the glass should all be the same.

Seems like most of it is the same, except 1/4 windows.
