is it possible cause thats what i want to reach and i was hoping the powerhouse turbo and i couldnt find anything excpet o 289 on pump gas, anyone know if you can reach 500 and how? because i have money saved up

500 bhp yeah. rwhp? maybe. With about 7-8k in a built motor and a ph turbo kit with a bigger turbo, wastegate and bov as well as 60lb injectors and upgraded fuel pump. Did i forget clutch, trans, driveshaft, and rear end. Your almost at 15k getting a maybe reliable 500rwhp.

500rwhp? not even easy with a GT lol. you will need a good blower. it will probably cost you more to sell the six and buy a GT then buy a blower.

for the 6, you need a PowerHouse 411 turbo, SSM heads and SSM cams. you will trash your rear end and tranny, so you will want an 8.8" rear and a built tranny. you dont need to build the engine for 500rwhp on a turbo...run 12psi and you will be fine.


if you just want 500hp, just get the turbo and turn it to 12psi

IMO easier to obtain with a GT but not impossible with a V6 if you dump a whole lot of money into motor and drivetrain. See numbers in sig for a GT with Whipple H.O. S/C and no other performance mods Later J

i think 500rwhp is possible, is it safe? or reliable? hell no

im going to try to hit it on the stock block, but its going to take 17+ psi and race gas since u cant make any power over 5200rpm.

so far ive done just over 450 (454) which is easily 500 at the flywheel

is it possible to hit 500hp at the crank with a vortech s/c and maybe cams, ported heads, built internals? disregarding teh fact that the tranny, d/s, rear end, clutch, etc will have to be replaced...
