Hi there - I've been looking for this info for several hours now, and had no luck. I have the FRPP tach driver kit, and I'd like to avoid splicing the crank position wires at the crank sensor since its too exposed to the elements. Can someone tell me which wires I'm looking for in the PCM harness? A wiring harness pinout diagram would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

welcome shaggy

hey i saw your post on the other forum, but
i was a little confused as to what you were
looking for.....

if you're talking about the crankshaft sensor that is
on the lower part of the engine (passenger side) i
see what you mean by exposed by the elements...

if it's an 05/06, the wires are:
Gray w/Yellow stripe   (sensor +)
Black w/Pink stripe     (sensor - )

* it appears that these wires go directly to the PCM,
so you could tap at any point convenient
along the way.

Hy guys-  it was for a 2006 GT - thanks Hammeron for confirming the wire colours with the polarities.  Basically - I was looking for someone who had done it before and might be able to provide instuctions like the ones in this thread:
http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54447
This is exactly what I'm looking for, but for the wrong car...

I was hoping someone could tell me where those 2 wires ended up, to save pulling apart all three PCM plugs and uwrapping them to find the wires.  I read somewhere else it is on connector c175e, which I believe is the lower connector, but I wasn't entirely sure.

hey shaggy, it is indeed on connector C175E

what i can say for sure, is that the sensor
wires come in to the PCM through a 70 pin
connector (pins 46 & 47). The other 2 PCM
connectors, are 50 pins each.
