Default STREET RACING V6 OR V8

i was wandering i like to street race alot with my buddies n ppl i meet n i need to know is v6 better are a v8 i hear all kind of stuff but i figure some of u ppl who are like mustang experts can tell me so plz let me know b4 i spend like 3,000 are more dollars on a motor thx

What type of car do you have, or are you buying a car and need opinions?

no replacement for displacement, why would the average v6 be better than the average v8? unless the v6 has some crazy work (forged or completely built or something) v8 hands down.

but because your saying 3000 more on a motor, i'm guessing you have a car with no engine. you need to be more specific here, WHAT do you have and what are you trying to do because from your post i'm pretty sure you dont know what your about to get yourself into.

Look at the nissan 350z and a Mustang GT

ive beaten several. they have much better suspension than a stock mustang though also.

i doubt hes looking at putting a 350z, supra, or skyline motor in his car.

well i have a 98 v6 mustang a 3.8l and im thinking about to put a $ v8 5.0l in it i have found 1 but rele i just want to smoke evry one when i street race but to tell u the truth i am very new at this =)

Question is do you have the money to do the entire swap correctly, no you won't ever smoke everyone.

Well the 350z and GT run similar times....
And neither the supra or skylines are V6's (which is what he asked about)
