I love that orange and if I get a notch I want to paint it that color (which you stole from me, BTW, i've wanted that color for over a year and I don't even have the car yet)
The only thing that dissappoints me is that I LOVE the color your car is. Any time I scroll post one of your posts I have to stop and stare at your car.

Thanks man! I am excited and disappointed about the the change at the same time...it is kinda bitter sweet. I was really worried that if I tried to keep the same color (it isn't factory) I would get something close but not the same and hate it. I chose that orange color about 3 years ago, or at least it was in the running

Here is some more that I did tonight.....pulled the dash, door panels, headliner, sunroof, spoiler and tail lights. I started to pull the rear bumper, but my kids came out so I had to quit I am going to pull the doors sometime this week, then the hood. I am going to paint the inside of the car, that is why I am taking thr interior all out. I will also start stripping the engine bay to paint as much as I can. I eventually plan on pulling the engine and hiding all the wires and smoothing it out, but I want to rebuild the motor when I pull it so I only have to have it out once....so this will have to do for now. Enjoy
DONT DO IT!!!! dude i'm with the majority here in that your color combo is just KILLER, although i don't think i even like the orange like most. Just sayin.... btw what color is the blue you have right now?? it's awsome

Okay, I made some more progress today. I got the doors stripped out(glass removed, latches, door handles but I left the regulators in) I got the rear bumper off, and the rest of the interior out. No huge discoveries, but we did find some filler on the passenger side where we started sanding. Looks like I found out why my car has been repainted. Looks like someone swiped the side of the car into something, nothing major, but just a little extra we didn't know of. I also found a little more rust in the front wheel well where the air box goes thru...not sure how I am going to fix that yet. I also noticed I has some surface rust on most of my seams, but a wire wheel and a good primer will take care of that. Here are the pictures, I will describe as I go
good luck with the car coming out the way you want it to...
Thanks...I think
LOL! Well it looks like you are taking the right steps! I am impressed by how fast you are working! That's great. Cannot wait to see the finished product. BTW: I love the color you chose. There is a notch in my town with a similar color, and it is simply stunning. Good luck bro!
