I think they both look good. Its up to you. I think your car will stand out a little more with the stripes or without. Stripes do make it more unique.
Heres some questions.
1. vinyl or paint.(vinyl is like a plastic material and it will look exactly like painted, as a matter of fact vinyl can be more popular than painted stripes. Why? well if you dont like it it can come off. Painted is on and thats it it.
2. Are you gonna do it yourself? or professionals. I recently found out that professionals charge WAY to much were talking 100s for stuff people have done at home. I got a price the other day for stripes..they wanted 500 dollars. So maybe you should read up on the installation and take a weekend and try it.
3. i messed up my first time horrible. so i took what i had left and practiced and i did a darn good job. It has to be done right for it to work.
