I have a 1999 v6 mustang and my governor wont let me go over 120 and i know i am very capable of doing alot more than 120 is there any way to override your governor with out tunning it and all that crap cause my friend has an srt 4 and he replace his throttle bady and now he has no ristrictions i was just wondering if that could be done on mustangs or what do i have to do cause its getting on my nerves.

There is a reason why that governor is in place on that car. The tires, breaks, driveshaft, etc are probably all out of they're operational speed after 120mph. Be carefull, don't kill yourself or someone else.
V6 S197s have a 115speedo kill for a reason. Mostly it's because of the drive shaft. I don't know what in the 1999 model is the first to go, but in the S197s, the first thing to fail anywhere past 115 is the drive shaft. After that, it's the differential.
Don't remove the governor. I'm 19 and I know what it's like to have a power car. Don't think you have to prove yourself. You have a V6 mustang, and this coming from another V6er, you really don't have much to show off...
