Paid for it out right.
Trying not to brag either, but the main reason my wife and I have a few $'s is because other than a mortgage, we have avoided paying interest over our 27 years of marriage like the plague. We always buy new cars and drive them them forever. The 1990 Acura Integra that the Pony took it's spot in the garage had 337,000 miles on it and still ran fine when we sold it.

The '04 is paid for as well as my '02 Ranger. Owe about $12K on the '07. Once its paid for later this year, I have to decide if I want a new GT for myself, or spend money for home improvements. Decisions, decisions.
started at 24k after tax title and regristration in June 05. I was the first one I knew to get one. now 151xx but I bought it with $0 down because I wasn't looking to buy when I got it but I wrecked a 2000 Monte Carlo. and I haven't been to work since october from medical issues so I haven't been able to make extra payments with any christmas money I coulda earned

Only made 2 payments (well $900 so 3 payments I guess) so far $15,200, put 7 grand down plus the 1 grand the dealership "put down" with 4.9 financing. $262 is my payment. Only 6 years to go woohoo!!!
I owe about 12 on it, I paid 17 for it (used) because the bank I work at has a partnership with the dealership as far as granting loans, etc. The first rule of buying a used stang is normally don't buy one thats already modded, but I paid 17 grand for an '06 vert in mint condition with magnaflow duals, CAI, GT bumper, pony package, leather, shaker 500, etc. only 12k miles, driven by a rich guys wife that used it to take the kids to school, who ended up trading it in for a Shelby. I couldn't pass that up, plus it was the exact color I wanted. just seemed like fate :) I would have chosen magnaflows on my own anyhow.
And to think, the other dealership wanted $410 a month to LEASE a GT coupe. Test driving the vert was my first time even being in a convertible, right away I knew it was worth it for me to sacrifice the V8 in favor of the vert with a 6banger. The only thing that I really had to "settle" on was that it was an auto. really hard to find a 6 with a stickshift around here, I almost ordered one from the factory, but that would have cost me around 10 thousand more.

wow, they finance these cars for 6 years? I thought i was bad financing for 5 years.. my payment is 464.. that was with 5500 down.
i make my 11th payment next week.. only 19700 to go :(
What rate did you get? I know Ford was offering 0% rate when I bought mine, but I was paying in full and didn't bother to ask for the details. I wonder how much you really are paying for the car when all is said and done?
as stated before, when i bought mine, ford only offered 4.9apr
if you paid cash for your car you saved some considerable cash for sure.. i got my bill of sale out, heres the details
sales price 26999 sales tax other fees 1900 total price 28899 finance charge for five year financing 3120.99 (damn...i could have paid for the gt if i paid cash)
personally i think i got the best price on my new 07 v6 premium. black, red leather, 5 speed, shaker, display lights and a few others but no pony package or spoiler. i paid like 19052 or something close in a few dollars and only like not even 500 more in tax and title and registration. and i got 6.7% interest for only being 19 and no cosigner. its only been a 2 1/2 months and i owe like 18,500 now.

long live the mustang. lol. love these cars
That is a good price, but I know there are others on here who have the Pony Package, Sirius Sat., leather seats and IUP for $19K including myself. At the time Ford was offering a $1000 rebate and I was able to use some other incentives as well.
i have around 14. but it wil be paid in full in the next couple of months due to my new business venture in southamerica . haha. jk. were actually selling a house/property that we just flipped. it feels good to take an old P.O.S. and make it something nice with a little TLC and alot of elbow grease.
I owe 12.000 and I'm trading it in now for a 08 Black GT. The payments are the same, I just adding 3 years more on it. Its the first time I wasn't flip/flop on the payments
